Our story
Built on a Love for This Land
How it started
A Vision Rooted in Place
Born from the vision of lifelong Cape Elizabeth community members, Jordan Ridge represents a shared passion for thoughtful design, exceptional craftsmanship, and the enduring character of coastal Maine. Drawing upon decades of local knowledge, creativity, and building experience, our vision is to create a comfortable neighborhood that reflects the very best of coastal Maine living.
More than a collection of beautiful home lots, Jordan Ridge is a neighborhood designed to endure. With a commitment to integrity, quality, and a personalized experience, we are proud to bring this vision to life, one exceptional home at a time. Jordan Ridge is located in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, minutes from the harbor, the trails, and the kind of small-town life that people move to New England to find. We're proud to be building it carefully, one site at a time.

Maxwell Cove
Custom Home Builder
Jay Cox and Bill Royall created the Maxwell Cove team in 2016, each bringing their unique skill sets. Bill began home construction work in 1990, starting with remodels, additions, and new houses. Now, 36 years later and counting, after building countless custom homes in Cape Elizabeth, South Portland, and Scarborough, he brings his special talents to Jordan Ridge. Jay, after a career running, managing, and owning fishing vessels in Alaska, Russia, and the South Pacific, moved back home to Cape Elizabeth in 2001. He, among other things, established a choose-and-cut Christmas tree farm in Cape Elizabeth and a development and construction business with Bill Royall. Together, Jay and Bill offer something uncommon in land development and custom new home construction.
